BS in Digital Media Communication
The transformation of traditional to digital media is profoundly affecting the media industry everywhere, including in Pakistan. Because of these shifts, the media industries are undergoing a dramatic makeover in terms of interactive and aesthetically enriched storytelling techniques and their effect on society at the cultural, social, political, and global levels. The School of Media and Communication Studies at MUL has developed this advanced undergraduate new media degree to meet the industry's needs and open up new employment options for media students in light of the technological revolution currently underway in the media and communication industries.
Mission
The media industries in Pakistan and the world are rapidly changing with the advent of new technologies in communication. The digital platform for creative communication has enabled individuals, communities, and nations to express their profound visions of humanity to the world. The 4-year degree programme has been carefully designed for undergraduate students who wish to integrate intensive professional training in digital media communication with a comprehensive combination of creative communication, aesthetics, design, animation, and films, in light of the growing recognition of the need to teach visual storytelling and its art in increasingly complex contexts. Objectives
1. To encourage creative story-telling between students
2. To demonstrate digital technical knowledge in video and audio editing based on advanced skills such as VFX and CGI.
3. To provide the students a holistic view of new technologies of visual communication, instilling them with creativity and aesthetics.
4. To illustrate an innovative concept, artistry, and mastery of visual storytelling skills through creating professional-level digital media productions.

45 % marks in Intermediate.
