Profile

Dr. Hameed has done Postdoc in Law from University of Glasgow on HEC Scholarship in 2023. Before this, he completed his PhD at the School of Law, University of Glasgow, UK in 2014. The focus of his research was UN sponsored International Conventions on Terrorism and Organised Crime. He did his LLM from University of Sheffield, UK and was awarded the status of HEC Approved Supervisor in 2015. He started his career as a civil judge prior to joining University of Sargodha as its Principal/ Associate Professor. Thereafter he served as Director Punjab Judicial Academy and Director UMT Law School Lahore. Next, he was appointed as Dean/ Principal at Bahria University Law School Islamabad. Currently, he is Professor/ Head of Law School at Minhaj University Lahore. He has over 35 HEC recognized publications to his credit in addition to numerous case notes, legislative reviews, blogs and articles.
