Profile

Dr. Ali Ahmad is an Assistant Prof. & HEC-approved PhD supervisor at the School of Chemical Engineering, Minhaj University, Lahore, Pakistan. He received his Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the COMSAT University Islamabad, Lahore Campus in 2012 and worked as Planning Engineer at Hyundai Engineering & Co. on the extension project of Attock Oil refinery limited Pakistan for a year. He secured admission at the Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology, University of the Punjab for his Masters in Chemical Engineering in 2012. In the year 2015, Dr. Ahmad joined Minhaj University Lahore as a Lecturer at the School of Chemical Engineering, and in 2016; he started his doctoral studies at the Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China. So far, he has published 13 peer-reviewed journal articles with a cumulative impact factor of more than 80. His work has been cited more than 500 times with an overall h-index of 7. Owing to his contributions in the field of membrane technology, he is serving as Guest Editor for the Membrane journal. He is also a reviewer of prestigious journals including ‘Korean Journal of Chemical Engineering, Membranes, Processes, International Journal of Molecular Sciences (IJMS), Iranian Journal of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering', etc. Area of Interest: Membrane Technology, Molecular Dynamics Simulation, DFT, Adsorption, Wastewater Treatment, Photocatalysis
