ABOUT

Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri is a prominent Islamic scholar, economist author, and an educationist from Pakistan. He is the son of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, who is the founder and patron-in-chief of Minhaj-ul-Quran International.
Besides being the Deputy Chairman of the BOG of Minhaj University Lahore, Dr. Hussain Qadri is also the president of the organization and a senior fellow from the University of Melbourne, Australia. He has significantly contributed to the growth and development of Minhaj-ul-Quran International and the Minhaj University Lahore.
He has written numerous books and research papers on various subjects related to economics, inter-religious studies and Islam, including Islamic thought, spirituality, Islamic economics and finance, philosophy and education.

Having more than 15 years of experience in the fields of economics, Islamic finance, international business, sustainability, and innovation, Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-din Qadri has authored 50 books and 135 articles on various aspects of development economics, Islamic economics and finance, and Islamic thought and inter-religious studies.
Moreover, he is serving as a Member of the International Forum Committee at The Association of Islamic Finance, a global network of scholars and practitioners in the field of Islamic economics and finance. He also oversees 650 schools and colleges along with Aghosh Orphan care homes all over Pakistan.
Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri’s multi-dimensional contributions have positively impacted Pakistan’s global reputation as he has been playing a key role in promoting peace, education and interfaith harmony. He is also actively involved in interfaith dialogue initiatives to foster understanding and cooperation between different religious communities.
