Introduction

The Bachelors in Medical Laboratory Technology (BS-MLT) is a 4 year degree program in which students not only acquire clinical subject knowledge of the underlying human diseases but are also well-equipped with a set of skilled techniques of diagnostics labs like Clinical Microbiology, Clinical Biochemistry, Histopathology and cytology, Hematology and Blood banking.

Objectives

  • To provide training in diagnostics for graduates to work in health care organizations in government and private sectors
  • To foster an environment which enables students to focus on areas of special clinical diagnostics
  • To provide an in-depth knowledge of clinical diagnostics in the areas of anatomy and histology, physiology, immunology, serology and hematology
