The M. Phil program in Applied Psychology is a research grounded degree that aims to provide students with a broad based knowledge of contemporary issues in different fields of Psychology with special reference to indigenous perspective. It aims to prepare skilled professionals who are highly creative, research-oriented, efficient, and productive in the field of psychology. Direct learning program is designed to involve students in the scientific research process and gain skills necessary to conduct and disseminate original research.
In the initial two semesters students will be offered a number of core and elective courses that will help them develop a critical insight to identify research gaps in their respective fields. The next two semesters will be devoted to conducting research in the identified areas.
