Meggy discovered her passion for South Asia during her Master's degree in Global History & Global Studies at the University of Vienna. A communicator by conviction, Mechthild was active for a number of women's and European policy think tanks and associations in Berlin and Vienna during her studies. Before her studies, Mechthild trained as a journalist in Bavaria. In the course of her professional career, she specialized in women and their influence in conflict resolution as well as women & migration.
