World Milk Day, celebrated annually on June 1st, raises awareness about the significance of milk and dairy products for human health.

In celebration of this day, the School of Food Science and Technology organized a competition for students to create unique milk products, including conventional, fermented, and extended shelf life items. Students also crafted posters highlighting the nutritional benefits of milk and demonstrated methods to enhance milk production through various feeds and fodders.

Prof. Dr. Sajid Mehmood Shahzad, Vice Chancellor of Minhaj University Lahore, attended the event and praised the students' vision and hard work. He also encouraged the faculty to continue organizing such activities in the future.

Dr. Summer Rashid, Head of the School of Food Science and Technology, Prof. Dr. Farman Ahmed, and other faculty members actively participated in the celebrations. The School of Food Science and Technology remains dedicated to enhancing students' potential through such valuable initiatives.
