A delegation from the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), led by Professor Dr. Arshad Hussain, visited Minhaj University Lahore for the re-accreditation of BSc Chemical Engineering program. The delegation included Professor Dr. Kamran Sami, Professor Dr. Khadija Qureshi, and Engr. Osaf Malik. Registrar Dr. Khurram Shahzad, Dean of the Faculty of Basic Sciences and Mathematics Dr. Talib Hussain, Head of the School of Chemical Engineering Dr. Naeem Akram, Director of Academics Dr. Muhammad Jawad Iqbal, and Director of the Quality Enhancement Cell Muhammad Bilal Akram Bhatti welcomed the delegation and gave them a tour of the various state-of-the-art facilities such as furnished classrooms, libraries, hostels, sports, labs, and the implementation of OBE for engineering programs. The Registrar, MUL, provided a detailed presentation about the Organo gram of MUL, details of degree programs and research centers. The delegation appreciated the modern infrastructure, particularly the state-of-the-art digital robotic library and resource center, the Shaykh-ul-Islam Institute of Spiritual Studies, and the administration block. Two days visit was come to end upon exit meeting of the delegation with Registrar, MUL, Dr. Khurram Shahzad in his office. Registrar Dr. Khurram Shahzad presented shields and souvenirs to the delegation members at the end of the visit.
