Minhaj University Lahore Partners with Meezan Bank Limited for Islamic Finance Education
The School of Islamic Economics, Banking, and Finance at Minhaj University Lahore has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Meezan Bank Limited. The agreement, signed by Prof. Dr. Sajid Mahmood Shahzad, Vice Chancellor of Minhaj University Lahore, and Mr. Shayan Baig, Deputy Group Head of the Shariah Compliance Department of Meezan Bank Limited, marks the beginning of a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing Islamic banking and finance education. This collaboration will provide students with valuable internship opportunities job placements and pave the way for joint research initiatives, contributing significantly to the growth of Islamic finance in Pakistan
