The meeting of MUL's Board of Governors was held on 17th December 2020.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul- Qadri, Worthy Chairman, Board of Governors presided over the meeting.
Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Deputy Chairman BOG, Prof. Dr. Fazal Ahmad Khalid, Chairperson, Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC), Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President Supreme Council, Minhaj ul Quran International (MQI), Dr. Ghazala Hassan Qadri, Member Supreme Council, MQI, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Nazim-e-Aala, MQI, was also among the worthy members of BOG.
Dr. Sajid Mehmood Shahzad, Vice Chancellor MUL, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shahid Soroya, Pro-Vice-Chancellor MUL,, Prof. Dr. Hamid Saeed, Former Registrar, FCC University, Barrister Amir Hussain, Advocate Supreme Court, Brig. (R) Iqbal Ahmad, Vice President MQI, Dr. Riaz-ul-Haq Tariq, Representative of HEC, Mr. Ali Ahmad, Deputy Secretary Higher Education Department, Govt. of Punjab and Col. (R) Muhammad Ahmad, Registrar MUL also attended the meeting.
The Chair welcomed all worthy members of the Board of Governors. MUL 's progress of the last couple of years was presented and well appreciated by the members. BOG members were told that the university is 100 percent ready for online classes and during Covid-19, more than RS. 30 million fee discount was given to the students.
BOG members admired online teaching facilities and fee discounts. They said that working for social welfare is the hallmark of MUL.
BOG Members also appreciated the research facilities provided at the university.
A very distinctive feature of the meeting was the use of tablets for the proceeding of the Agenda digitally and presentation of other related material during the meeting. This is a step of MUL aiming to promote paperless culture for Environmental Sustainability.
Moreover, Future Development Plans were presented and approved accordingly. After the meeting, all worthy members visited the university campus and admired the atmosphere and facilities provided to the students.
