Introduction

As the curators of MUL’s commitment to excellence in education and research, our esteemed board consists of distinguished leaders of various fields that bring a wealth of experience to provide insightful guidance and oversight for fostering an environment of innovation, integrity and academic distinction at MUL.

The Board:

  • Formulates or approves the principles, policies and plans governing the activities and operations of the MUL so as to facilitate research, teaching and other academic work
  • Develops and revises the rules and regulations for the efficient and effective operations of MUL
  • Creates faculties and departments under its jurisdiction
  • Constitutes committees, councils and other administrative or academic advisory bodies as it deems necessary, and review their work
  • Holds, controls and administers the property, funds and resources of the University
  • Undertakes the responsibility for the financial viability of the University including the effectiveness of its operations, their continuity and preservation of the autonomy of the University
  • Considers and pass through resolutions, annual report, plan of work, statement of accounts and the annual budget estimates
  • Examines the reports relating to the activities of the University
  • Takes all such initiatives for the efficient and effective management and functioning of the University

Shaykh ul Islam Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir ul Qadri

Dr. Tahir ul Qadri is a Pakistani-Canadian Islamic scholar, author, and founder of the Minhaj-ul-Quran International organization. Dr. Qadri has a Ph.D. in Islamic Law from the University of Punjab in Pakistan and has written over a 1000 books on a wide range of topics including Islamic jurisprudence, spirituality, and Sufism. He has also delivered lectures on Islam and other topics in various countries around the world.

Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri

Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri is known as a well-recognized, prolific orator, Islamic Scholar and also an enthusiastic human rights activist. He is portraying Islam on the International level as a beautiful and perfect religion of harmony and peace for all humans.

Dr. Ghazala Hassan Qadri

Dr Ghazala Qadri is president of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League International and a member of the board of governors of the Minhaj University Lahore.
Dr Ghazala Qadri is a renowned activist who works painstakingly for women empowerment. Her particular focus is on women’s rights and creating practical steps to ensure women become fully-fledged members of civil society.

Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri

Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri is a prominent Islamic scholar, economist author, and an educationist from Pakistan. He is the son of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, who is the founder and patron-in-chief of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. Besides being the Deputy Chairman of the BOG of Minhaj University Lahore, Dr. Hussain Qadri is also the president of the organization and a senior fellow from the University of Melbourne, Australia.
