Undergraduate Programs ( Morning, Weekday Classes )

  • For ADP/BS:Minimum 45% Marks in intermediate /A-Level or equivalent.
  • For BS 5th/Bridging: Minimum 45% marks in 14 years qualification or equivalent.
  • For L.L.B (5 years): Minimum 45% marks in Intermediate and 50% marks in LAT (conducted by HEC).
  • For CS & IT: Minimum 50% marks in Intermediate 12 years of schooling/A-Level or equivalent with Mathematics are required. The students who have not studied Mathematics at intermediate level will have to pass deficiency courses of Mathematics (06 credits) in first two semesters.
  • For Pharm-D: Minimum 60% marks in FSc Pre-medical and 50% marks in MUL admission test.
  • For BSc Chemical/Electrical Engineering: Minimum 60% marks in FSc (Pre-Engineering), ICS, relevant DAE or Equivalent A-levels. Minimum 33% marks in UET-ECAT/NTS-NAT (IE)/ entry test conducted by NED-UET/MUET/NUST/ ETEA and remaining admission criteria set by all the relevant accredited councils and bodies.

Postgraduate Programs ( Weekend Classes )

  • For M.Phil: Sixteen (16) years qualification with a minimum 2.0 out of 4.0 CGPA or 50% marks (in case of the annual system). Minimum 50% marks in GAT (General) conducted by NTS, 60% marks in MUL Aptitude Test (MAT-General) or GRE (General) conducted by ETS.
  • For PhD:Eighteen (18) years qualification in relevant field/discipline with a minimum of 3.00 out of 4.0 CGPA with thesis. The candidate also have to acquire minimum 60% marks in GAT (subject) conducted by NTS, GRE (Subject) conducted by ETS or 70% marks in MUL Subject Aptitude Test along with passing the interview. In case of having a foreign degree of previous qualification, an equivalence certificate from HEC is mandatory.

Admission Process

  • At the time of admission, students will be required to submit the signed Undertaking, (to pledge that the provided information is correct and M.phil/ PhD candidates will pass the GAT general through MUL or NTS, if not, they will not be considered eligible to carry out their research work or take comprehensive examination), attested copies of all the documents, degrees, and certificates along with the originals for verification at the time of submission.
  • On completion of all the formalities including passing of test and interview (if applicable), and submission of required documents; the Directorate of Admissions will issue a challan form for payment of the admission and related miscellaneous charges to be submitted in MUL’s account office/ bank account.
  • Student will not be enrolled until the fees is deposited within the stipulated time period and presented as an evidence by the deposit of a copy of the fees challan at the admission office.
