It is an admitted fact that ever since the creation of Pakistan the education has been suffering at the hands of experimentation. Systems have never been evolved to meet he national needs nor any serious effort has been made to produce graduates of international standard. We as a nation have thus failed to keep pace with the rapidly changing and fast advancing modern world. Education arranged by public sector has been suffering form its inadequacies of resources and lack of sense of responsibility. This has exerted pressure on the private sector to play a role in organizing and conducting quality education to meet the colossal needs of ever increasing student population.

Under the prevailing dismal set-up in the educational sector there is an urgent need for progressive, vibrant and dynamic educational institutions. Besides giving a sound educational system, the need to have among others, a colleges at intermediate level in the private sector, fully equipped with all the necessary facilities and with fee packages affordable by the families belonging to meager income group was the need of the day. Keeping this factor in view, Professor Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has striven hard and succeeded in setting up Minhaj College for the larger benefit of the masses.
