      There is an ever increasing demand in the country for people who possess sound knowledge of economics theory on the one hand and of business on the other so that they can solve the problems of business enterprises.       Objectives:

      M.Phil Economics

      M. Phil economics is two years program, after successful completion of M.A/M.Sc or 16 years of education with economics as major subject. In the first year, students have to complete the course work consisting of two semesters. On the completion of course work, students will have to work on their M. Phil thesis, which may take six months to one year. The M. Phil thesis must be of publication-acceptable standard and contribute to the economics Literature.
