The Faculty of Islamic Studies comprises of “College of Shariah and Islamic Studies” (COSIS) and the “Minhaj College for Women” (MCW) as Constituent Colleges. The college has a glorious history of imparting high quality education and training in the fields of Islamic Studies, Shariya & Arabic. The institution provides a beautiful blend of the classical learning to bring to the forefront the latent faculties of the students and to inculcate in them the qualities of leadership under the towering, scholarly and intellectual figure of the Dean, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir- ul-Qadri.

The successful candidates have a wide range of career options. The scholars produced by the University are carrying out various teaching and research assignments in different government and semi-government organizations. Moreover, the alumni of the College have successfully undertaken a number of responsibilities ranging from teaching and research at various centers of the Idara Minhaj-ul-Quran located in America, Europe and the Arab States. They can successfully acquire a job on the basis of the degree: “Shahadat-ul-Almia” which has been recognized by The University Grants Commission ( now HEC) as equivalent to MA. Islamic Studies/ MA. Arabic. At present, the Alumni of the College are working as lecturers in different public sector schools, colleges and universities selected through the Public Service Commission and other provincial selection boards. The alumni also join various high offices like the Civil Services and the Armed Forces through competitive examinations.
